TEAM LAGARTO BJJ

Lucio Rodrigues academy is the home of expert Brazilian jiu jitsu tuition and practice. Under our structured and proven system of teaching we will be with you step by step as your jiu jitsu evolves and improves.

In the fundamentals class you will practice positions, moves and techniques with your classmates to improve your knowledge and understanding of the art that is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. When you are ready and your jiu jitsu is at the appropriate level you will be able to train in the advanced class. These classes will again focus on techniques and positions, however the moves will obviously become more advanced and intricate as your level of jiu jitsu improves. The advanced classes will also feature sparring sessions which will enable you to put into practice all the techniques that you have learnt in a safe and supervised environment.

We do not want our students to destroy each other on the mat every night, we see each other as team mates and family and we use the sparring sessions to aid each students development and preparation for upcoming competitions.

Not only will you improve your fitness, strength and endurance whilst training with us, but you will also learn from Lucio Rodrigues himself about the Brazilian jiu jitsu lifestyle which will reward you with a healthy mind, body and soul.
